The Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on his election to the See of Peter.

Pope Leo XIV’s election is of particular significance to the Acton Institute, which is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, near where His Holiness spent his high school years.

The staff of Acton Institute, both at our headquarters in Grand Rapids and at Istituto Acton in Rome, offer our prayers for Pope Leo XIV as he assumes the responsibilities of the Bishop of Rome and Successor of Peter.
